What we did

The “Introduction to Starting a Business for Researchers” training was designed in collaboration with the Les Premières Île-de-France incubator, with contributions from Laure Malherbe, a former manager at L'Oréal. Several universities asked us to offer it to their second-year research master's students.

The approach meets a need in science programmes: opening up to new perspectives and to the way their teams are changing. Either so that future researchers understand how the company or start-up that will employ them works, or so that they can create one themselves and pursue the innovations produced during their research or their university studies.

“Thank you to Tatiana Kačan of Le Cortex and to Laure Malherbe for their sessions as part of our Business Simulation and Business Plan teaching unit in the Génie Physiologique Informatique and Génie Cellulaire master's programmes. We will be delighted to work with you again next year.”
